THANK YOU RAY! I will be downloading it then. Of the two versions it seems that this one (FlameHawk) works best with my equipment and software so I am really looking forward to that day. Thanks again Ray for being there for us.

I know some of this has been covered before, but what flavor is this based on again? (distribution & KDE version?) Got a package list handy? Who is going to be the "default root user" (Bob or Tyrone)? and default password? I promise to print out the list & pin it on the wall & field the same questions when other folks are too lazy (who, me???) to look back through the older posts.

Based on Hardy with kde 3.5.10; will get you the rest of info as I get it. Ray

This has been the day from hell. Someone stole my minivan and all the PhoenixOS code was in it; however its encrypted and no way anyone will be able to access it without passwords. I do have 1 day old backups, it will set me back a little but for the most part the code is current. Unfortunately I now have no vehicle and if that wasnt bad enough they also got my gps which I use to do all my onsite jobs, and the new car stereo I put in, as I am hearing impaired so had to put a pretty powerful car stereo in it. At the moment I am pretty depressed, but just wanted to fill you in on whats going on, in case I dont make it online. Its been horrendous. Ray

Sorry to hear about your car that is just not right. You take care of yourself that is more important than a new version of Phoenix, good luck.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and kind wishes. The police recovered the van with nothing missing, even the GPS was there! Bad news is they ripped the lock out of door and lock out of steering wheel so can not drive the car at the moment, but heck I'm just grateful to have all my stuff back with nothing missing and the Van in relatively good shape. Now just gotta get it fixed. Finally some good come out of this whole situation ! Guess, miracles still happen Ray
